Online Korean Language Teacher – Team Coach

What is 90 Day Korean and what do we do?

We are an online Korean language learning website that helps students from all around the world learn about the Korean language and culture. We do this through a paid online membership that contains a structured Korean language course, a supportive online community, live group teaching sessions, and fun games and activities in our member’s area. 

The goal of the program is to help the students learn to have a 3-minute conversation in Korean within the first 90 days. We also support our readers with free Korean language and culture content on our blog, YouTube channel, and other social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc).

What are the hours?

15 hours/week part-time + remote. M-F, 11am – 2pm KST

What is the compensation?

This depends on experience and skill level.

What will I be doing?

We are looking for a native Korean speaker with strong written English language skills to join our growing team. The coach would correct Korean language homework assignments and provide study tips to students. The coach would also work with the team to develop lessons and content, as well as reply to member questions in our community area.

This position would be part-time and remote, with the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate. The job can be done from anywhere as long as you are within a 5 hour time difference from the Korea time zone (KST time). 

Requirements – Am I the right person?

  • Working Hours: 11 am – 2 pm, M-F, KST Korea time (15 hours/week)
  • Attend weekly Skype team meeting Wednesday at 11 am
  • Native Korean speaker
  • Strong written English language skills 
  • Live in a time zone within 5 hours of KST Korea time
  • Cannot work from North America
  • Fast and reliable internet connection
  • Fast and dependable computer for remote work
  • Interest in teaching the Korean language to people around the world

  • Correct written Korean homework and give feedback to students
