Why not include Korean musicals in the course? Whenever I travel to Korea, it is to watch a Korean musical. I first traveled in 2017 to watch Death Note and Phantom (watched Death Note at the Seoul Arts Center in the afternoon, then rushed to Blue Square to watch Phantom), then in 2018 to watch Bridges of Madison County. Last year, traveled to watch Jeon Dong Suk’s 10th Anniversary Concert, and two nights of Ben-Hur (one with Kai as Judah Ben-Hur, the other with Park Eun Tae as Judah Ben-Hur). Korean musicals are just as much of a tourist attraction as K-pop or K-drama.
